My drabble as structured for 8/14/24. Exactly 100 words with an odd one ‘whatchamacallit’ featured. In addition to that challenge, the sentence, ‘I made more bacon’, must be included.

This combination can only lead to one man — the inimitable: George Forman!

George Forman former boxer, Olympic Gold Medal winner, heavyweight champ, feared by all who dared schedule to fight him, found peace. In his blended family of 12 children, he discovered he couldn’t remember all of his son’s names. So, in lieu of calling them whatchamacallit he named all five of them George.

It’s rumored 15 of his German Shepards are named George too!

He made hundreds of millions so far with his grill. Its special feature is a slanted fat draining surface making it a healthy option for most backyard chefs barbecuing steaks and burgers.

However, I made more bacon.

In the eyes of many, George went from a huge bully as a menacing boxer to pleasant next door neighbor when he successfully sold The George Forman Grill. He became beloved by all Americans.

Went asked why he named all of his sons George he replied, “If you were hit in the head by Mohammad Ali, Joe Frazer, Ken Norton and Mike Tyson, you’d forget your kids names too!”
