For her twenty first birthday, he blew her a glass bottle.

Instead of a ship inside, he imprisioned a live mouse.

There was a feeding tube so the mouse had sustenance.

He signed the glass present. His agent had the work of art appraised at Sotheby’s for two hundred thousand dollars.

On her birthday she read the card which included the appraisal. She eagerly opened the box.

She was shocked and horrified.

She immediately ran out her front door and smashed the bottle on the sidewalk setting the mouse free.

It was at that moment he knew he loved her.
