Sorry this is happening to you Carole. If it makes you feel any better, it happens a lot. It’s a pain in the ass to straighten out but eventually you do. The bad guys get away but at least your credit becomes whole again. Just have to keep at it and try not to let it get you down.
Good the whole fraud doesn’t stop you from doing some work on the house that’s positive in your life rather than just labor on trying to correct an unfair negative.
