Seems like everybody in any competition worldwide sees no problem with “getting the edge” whether it’s legitimate (through hard work, training and purpose) or otherwise. Winning is the goal.
Does anyone argue with a surprise attack against superior forces in a war? Developing bigger and better armaments?
“Getting the edge” seems to be where it’s at in many human endeavors. Part of the human condition.
We have to learn to live with it to the extent we can. That doesn’t mean we should stop trying. Just not be too broken when we discover it happening to us.

Very much involved with the world and likes nothing better than writing about its absurdities. Award winning author who guarantees a laugh or two a story.
