Almost everybody checks the construction of a house before purchase, even hire a home inspector. Appliances, heaters, roof certification required.
There should be somebody to check the neighbors. They can be more problematic than a faulty heater or leaky roof. Those can be fixed.
And they’re your neighbor until they don’t want to be—-and move.
