My Cat Likes Me — I Think

I’m not about to ascribe human feelings to my cat, Bijou. It’s a heavy responsibility to be loved by any human, for both parties involved. I don’t know whether I particularly want to burden Bijou with the expectation of behavior befitting a human who loves and is loved.
