I’ve always maintained l’d rather work twice the hours at a job to make the money to pay someone competent to do fix-it around the house.
On the rare occasion I tackle the problems myself I either become increasingly frustrated and finally hire someone or if I’m able to complete the chore, even with a degree of imperfection, I’m incredibly proud.
