I agree with your husband's research. I'm no scholar but his finding make all the sense in the world when taken in context with all that God teaches us Chistians.

I believe "Hell" is a man created concept to allow humans to maintain their emotional equilibrium if someone deeply hurts them and is not punished for it by conventional human retribution. Flawed as we all are.
