I think it’s a better way to live with not only binds open but inside doors open during the day. when in the house .Especially with children and grandchildren. No one is shut out. Kids playing outside can see inside the home and parents can check for outside mischief. Doors shut often make kids feel shut off from parents and visa versa.
At night blinds shut but inside doors open for preteen children and grandchildren.
