Good analogy, the aging pitcher.

My eight-decade brain is like that aging pitcher who no longer has the 95-mile fastball. He must manage his decline by finding other strategies to fool the hitters. Aging forces us to adopt new ways to solve life’s problems. For me, I’ve learned to pause and think through a challenge. That’s what I was doing on the bench.
