All NFL Fans are NOT the Same
Throughout my life I’ve come in contact with different folks who’ve rooted for just about every team in the NFL.
All of them share about the same degree of sophistication for the game and wild enthusiasm for their chosen team.
The NFL is the king of the kingdom of football which has ruled sports in America for a generation. Not only has it replaced baseball as, “ America’s Pastime” it has become, “America’s Obsession” !
This violent spectacle where large men exercise to physical perfection in the winter, spring and summer only to self-destruct in the autumn. The players repeat the process annually until they no longer can perform. More often than not these corporally compromised gladiators are discarded from the game they love with life limiting injuries.
I ask you as a fellow fan: what’s not to like in watching all that mayhem?
All my life I’ve felt a certain discrimination; because I’m a fan of a certain team not because I’m a football fan.
For the past few years I’ve been on a personal quest to find out what makes me (and my kind) different from every other football fan in the United States.
